What is your magazine about?
+81 is a design-culture magasin introducing readers to varied and exciting creative scenes.
Who's behind the project? Tell us about the founders, their backgrounds and their motivations!
Satoru Yamashita, he is a founder and creative director until now. He has a design company name is DD WAVE. It founded 1990 by him, and he is also C.E.O of DD WAVE.
How do you produce one issue? How much time do you spend on it? How big is your team?
We have selected the four subjects of a year at the beginning.
About 2 months.

What have been the important steps in the life of your magazine?
Started. It is the most important the concept of started and graphic design.
Which are the key ingredients for the success of your magazine?
Graphic design and bilingual text.
What are the difficulties you are confronted with? What would be the thing to help the magazine to improve?

Where do you want the magazine to be in five years?
We want to distribute all of the world include south America, Africa and Eastern Europe.

+81 magazine origin and started point of long way.
Magazine favorite(s) that inspired you in your career.
So many magazine inspired me.
Especialy 1980's Face and i-D magazine,
1950's Harper's BAZAAR and Vogue.
Do you keep old copies of magazines? If so, what is your favorite in your collection?
Yes, we keep every issue, and I favorite with everything we have published.
How many magazines do you buy / get / read each month? Do you qualify yourself a maniac?
3 or 5 magazines in a month.
I favorite the BOOK, it bring myself to a maniac.
